Question:   If unsure about what tournaments to play, can I enter tournaments I know I want to play, and then add additional tournaments later when I know for sure?

Answer: A player using the IESGA Tournament entry form can enter just one tournament each time as long as they enter before the deadline for that tournament.  They can also enter two, three or all of the tournaments at one time.  If you enter and then find you can’t play, text Tournament Chairman John Hanke at 509-434-9988 or email john_hanke@msn.com (no phone calls) to cancel.  John will forward the cancellation to the Treasurer for a refund (less $5). Please note: Cancellations within 24 hours of a tournament date will result in the forfeiture of the green fee.
    

Question:   I just moved from Tri-Cities to Cheney.  I signed up for membership already but now I need to update my address.  What is the best way to do that?   

Answer:  

Here is how you update your address or other membership information after you have already signed up.  Go to the 2024 IESGA Entry Form, click on GOTO PLAYER INFO at bottom of the page; enter email, last name, first name; go to bottom of the page and click on GOTO FORMS; at top of page click on membership application dropdown; select Membership Application; in the Membership Application (Annual Membership Fee $30) dropdown select UPDATE INFO ONLY; enter any membership information that has changed; go to the bottom of the page and click on GO TO PAYMENT; scroll up to find payment info and then check the box [ I accept the Terms and Conditions ]  and then click SUBMIT. There is no payment required to update your information.

Question:   How do I get paper entries for tournaments, IESGA membership renewal, and Old Goat entry form? 

Answer: IESGA is encouraging ALL players to use the on-line web entry form.  The new 2024 web form has been updated to create a better user interface.  Please watch the tutorial on the Tournament Info page before using the web form.  If you still have trouble, call our secretary, Brad Berg 509-589-1725 or webmaster, Doug Kearsley 509-994-9254 and they will help you complete the web form.  If you are still unable to use the web form Brad Berg can send you a PDF.   Note you will have to print the PDF, write in the info, mail the form and check to IESGA at which point Brad will manually enter the same information into the web form for you.

Question:  If a fee has already been paid for a tournament, can the funds be moved to another tournament if you are unable to play in the one already paid for? 

Answer: We do not move funds to a future tournament due to the accounting difficulties. Question:  When do I receive my tournament winnings?

Answer: The IESGA Treasurer pays out 1st Half Tournament winnings approximately 2 weeks after the end of the first half of play. Typically, a box with payout envelopes will be placed on the IESGA table on the morning of the first tournament for the 2nd half of play. Note that if you have an early tee time, and the box isn’t on the table before you tee off, you should check the table after your round. Any envelopes that aren’t picked up during the day will be mailed to the members within a day or two after the tournament. 

The Treasurer will mail out the 2nd Half Tournament winnings to members 

approximately 2 weeks after the season ending tournament. Note that in order to ensure prompt delivery, please let IESGA know if your mailing address changes from the one you provided with your membership application.
